Most of my days are spent getting lost in them. Lost in the greatest sense of the word. I used to dread Monday’s with every ounce of my being and now I cherish them. For Mondays are a fresh beginning. We don’t wake up to alarms (although we have a little dog that often wants to play EARLY in the morning). I often throw on a little mascara and put a braid in my hair. We turn on music, which usually consists of a Disney soundtrack. I ask Jesus for protection, blessings, abundance and miracles for my family and those who cross my path. I put delicious essential oils in diffusers throughout my home, to enhance our moods, well-being, health, and spirituality (yep, they do all of thatð). I then make a big cup of coffee with coconut oil and gelatin. I oil pull with coconut oil and usually a few drops of OnGuard. I visualize my intentions for the day, then feed the dogs. Then I cut up some fruit, cheese, and throw in a few nuts and chat with my little person. Sometimes she asks me deep questions, like, “why does it get dark or what makes stars shine or why do I have gums in my mouth.” And sometimes she begs me for candy and protests her meal. I always say that she must have healthy food first. Then our day unfolds. We play outside, I teach her homeschool, and we share dÅTERRA.
I send my love (aka my amazing husband) pictures of our day and some of the funny things that were said. We somehow create a sink full of dishes and piles of laundry and messes in every room. We will never have this day again, so I try to just enjoy its gifts. Thank you ordinary and extraordinary day.
